How to Play

Play Jungle Connect online for free. Jungle Connect is a 10-stage timed Mahjong Connect game where players connect matching tiles using a line that can turn at 90 degrees no more than twice. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the green play button on the welcome screen.
The welcome screen also contains a language select button in the lower left corner, help and high score buttons in the center, and buttons for social sharing and developer information in the lower right corner.
Game Controls
- Desktop
  - Use your mouse left click button to tap on a tile to select it, then select on another tile of the same type to remove them from the playing field.
  - Touchscreen devices
    - Tap on the screen using your finger to select tiles to pair up.
    - Controls & indicators
      - The left side of the game shows a remaining timer meter and has a full screen mode button at the bottom.
      - The right side of the screen has a pause button at the top, shows your cumulative game score and level number, and then has buttons for music control and sound control. At the bottom of the right column there are hint buttons and shuffle buttons which can each be used three times.
      - Game Play
        Removing tiles
        In this game you match pairs of tiles to remove them from the playing field.
        Tiles must either touch each other, or can be connected with a straight line, or connected by a line that turns 90 degrees no more than twice.
        While tiles are removed from the playing field other tiles may retain their prior positions or fill.
        If tiles fill in a particular direction then they will fill in that particular direction for the rest of that level.
        When no remaining matches are available the tiles will automatically shuffle without costing you any of your shuffles.
        Scoring
        Your score is cumulative across all levels.
        You score points for each match you make, a chain bonus for making consecutive matches in rapid succession, and a time bonus.
        Losing & continues
        When the time meter runs out the game is over & you start out at the first level.
        Rather than clicking on the “End Game” button you can refresh the screen to continue your game from the prior level & then when the game loads click on “Continue Previous Game.”
        Strategy
        If tiles fill in a particular direction it typically makes sense to work on tiles that are parallel aligned in the orthogonal direction of movement & to work starting from the opposite side of filling to make those matches first.
        If you get stuck don’t be afraid to use either the hint or shuffle buttons, as your hints and shuffles are fully restored for the next level.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for people of all ages who like nature or mahjong solitaire games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
