Play Social Blackjack online for free. Social Blackjack is an online card game where you play against the computer dealer to see who can get closer to 21 without going over. Play by yourself or invite friends to play against you in a tournament. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. Starting the Game

Select your avatar, enter your name, and choose between Casual Play and Tournament by selected the associated buttons on the game’s welcome screen.

        You are given 25 seconds to make each decision.
        
        Betting
        
        You start the game with $10,000.
        
        Click on any of the chip amounts to place your bet. Chips are available in the following denominations: 50, 100, 500, 1,000 and 5,000. When you are done betting hit the confirm button.
        
        If you want to remove your chips from the table hover over them and hit the cancel button, then click on the chips associated with the bid size you want.
        
        If you did not win the prior hand and do not bet in time the game presumes a default bet of $500.
        
        Plays
        
        For each game you can double down, hit, stand, or surrender. If you are dealt a pair of cards (or two cards with a numerical value of 10) you can also split them. Here are what each of those options mean:
        
        hit: you take another card
        
        double down: you double your bet while taking another card. If you double down you get 1 extra card but then can not take any more.
        
        stand: you leave your hand “as is”
        
        surrender: you quit (which one should never do in blackjack since anything can happen and you bid upfront)
        
        split: you turn each card into half of a new hand
        
        The dealer must draw to 16 and stand on all 17.
        
        Strategy
        
        The name of the game is to get as close to 21 as you can without going over.
        
        If you bust (go over 21) you automatically lose no matter what the dealer does.
        
        Conversely, if you have a low hand and the dealer busts you win.
        
        If you have 10 or 11 and the dealer is showing a card like a 5 or a 6 instead of taking an ordinary hit you should double down.
        
        This game allows players to double down after splitting hands.
        
        A table below shows when players should make various blackjack moves based on general odds.
        
        Payouts
        
        On a push no chips exchange hands.
        
        On an ordinary win you win the amount you bet.
        
        On a blackjack (where you get precisely 21 using an Ace and a second card worth 10) you win 3-2, or 150% of your bet amount.
        
        Target Audience
