Play Axel Dungeon Sokoban online for free. Axel Dungeon Sokoban is a 2.5 dimensional 30-level box moving game where you have to place all the boxes in each stage on the red destination squares. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the Play Game button on the game’s welcome screen to visit the level select screen.
- Initially only the first level is accessible.
- Levels are unlocked sequentially.
- Your web browser saves your beat levels, but if you close your web browser it erases your play data.
- The welcome screen has buttons for controlling game options & reading game developer credits. The options menu allows you to switch to fullscreen mode or turn game volume off.

    - Use the arrow keys or WASD to move around the playing field and push boxes.
    - Touchscreen devices
      - Use the on screen controls. The direction pad is in the lower left corner of the screen.
      - Controls & indicators
        
        The upper left corner of the screen shows how many of the total crates you have positioned correctly and how many moves you have played on the stage.
        
        The level number is shown top center.
        
        The upper right corner has buttons to restart the level and return to the game’s welcome screen.
        
        Game Play
        
        Goal
        
        The goal of the game is to place all the crates onto the red destinations in as few moves as possible.
        
        Moving
        
        You can push boxes, but you can not pull them.
        
        If there are 2 boxes in a row you can not push them against each other until one of them has moved to a different row or column.
        
        When boxes are in a corner they can not move.
        
        When boxes are against a wall you can only move them parallel to the wall until you push them far enough that a gap separates.
        
        A box which is on a red position turns that cell green. You can still move boxes on a destination position to another location then move them back or move them to a different destination location.
        
        Strategy
        
        If you make a mistake do not hesitate to press the level restart button in the upper right corner. Sokoban games are rather unforgiving of errors.
        
        Look through the level for grids of 3×3 or larger as these can give you temporary storage locations for crates as you work through the rest of the level.
        
        Try not to move boxes against the walls unless you have an easy way to remove them from the wall via a perpendicular opening or the wall is aligned with the end destination of the box.
        
        Levels are designed so that you often have to move boxes in the wrong direction first.
        
        When you find a path that is successful you often end up using the same route repeatedly for many boxes.
        
        Box order
        
        You can fill any of the boxes in any of the locations.
        
        If there are multiple box destinations in a row or column and all must pass through one of the destinations then you must fill in the inner boxes first.
        
        Target Audience
        
        The game is suited for players who like Sokoban logic puzzle games.
        
        The game has no adult themed content.
